Relish
Never let the fear of loss let you miss the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of what you have in hand this minute –PRIYA SHANMUGAM
The Gift
The best GIFT we can ever give ourselves is to LIVE life in the PRESENT.
Remember that our fear of loss of something very precious to us is simply a probability. It is never a given. When we are not sure that it is going to happen for sure, then why waste time worrying about it?
Lose or gain is never in our control. If there is something that we have to move on without, despite of how hard we try, it will leave us when it has to.
Likewise, if there is something that is meant just for us, irrespective of how rough times might get, it will stay with us till the end.
When in fear of loss, simply think of this…
I am gifted to have this wonderful moment in my life. I am going to give my best to make this moment the most memorable moment of my life. I will neither fear tomorrow, nor will I fear the loss of my precious moment someday. Because, today I promise to do everything within my capacity to enjoy this moment – like this is the only time I have.

Learn Life
Reason the occurrence of an incident, rather than the situation or the people involved. We will realize we learnt something even during the most pressing moments of our lives –PRIYA SHANMUGAM
To Learn Without Being Taught
While I am not here to TEACH you what life is all about, I do not have an issue if you LEARN some nice things from the way I live –PRIYA SHANMUGAM

It's Evolution After All!
Life is nothing but an evolution. And so are relationships. We evolve each day, and learn some interesting facts about people we are involved with.
It makes us pause, evaluate, and consider if it’s worth the risk to share our life with the one we love.
The answer is not always a “Yes”. But, when it does turn out to be so, life simply gets even more interesting and worth living!!!

We Ask For A Miracle Dear Lord...
Each of us have gone through some really pressing moments in our lives that left us wonder and ask…”Why Me?”
It could have been anything like the loss of a beloved, strained moments with our loved ones, break-ups, physical pain, or anything else that we felt was not meant for us to experience. At each of these instances, we experienced pain, realized something was not so right, and that we are being dealt with unreasonably.
You may wonder why I write this like a blot out of clear sky. Yes friends, there is a reason for this. And the reason is Baby Falak.
An innocent soul, brought into this world like you and me, has been traumatized beyond comprehension while she is just two years old. She is battling for life, for no fault of hers; for it was not her choice to be where she is today. With critical health aliments compounding by the millisecond, she lays like a rock in some hospital room.
We all must have heard of this phrase “The Terrible Two”. This phrase is used to describe what a child typically is when she/he is - at the age of two. The second age of a child’s life makes it realize that she/he can get things done his/her way…yes, by simply getting rebellious. It is at two a child simply get’s a bit out of control, and quite difficult to manage…a time when we all enjoy the presence of a child around us!
When we see so many such Terrible Two toddlers all around…at our very own homes, and neighborhood, there is Baby Falak somewhere far away from us, not even knowing what her next minute is.
Does Baby Falak not deserve a life like you, or me? Does she have to be victim to the atrocity of grown up lust, greed, and selfishness? Does she have to be instrument to the growing cannibalism that is plaguing our very existence? I sure feel a strong NO.
She deserves something more.
She deserves the power of our prayers. This is the best thing we can ever do to this beautiful soul; to pray that God gives her the strength to fight all odds and MAKE IT. A prayer so strong that the Lord has no option but to grant.
I would appreciate it if we all prayer that this beautiful child of God has her share of life to live and appreciate.
This is no compulsion…purely by choice.
Let each of us today show Baby Falak we care.
